Film production book interview: Producer Ben Bryant with Filippo Voltagio
In September (’14) Filippo Voltagio interviewed me on his radio show about my film production book. He recognized that my books were not really about celebrity stories but about the personal experiences of a young, working actor and then those of a freelance film producer as told in my second book Circumstances Beyond My Control.
In this clip we talk about everything from my the nature of the producer’s job to the the seemingly accidental nature of my entry into memoir writing. We also talk a bit about my extraordinary wife, Elizabeth Hepburn, and her profound influence on my life. This conversation lead us into a discussion of the third entry into my autobiographical trilogy, Waiting For Elizabeth (coming early in 2015). This book is at its core a love story and I plan to have it available in time for Valentine’s day.
